To those of us who depend on eyeglasses for reading, seeing, distance and general everyday use, how many when going for an eye exam because of diminishing eyesight, blame everything on their glasses except themselves, saying: "darn, these glasses", when they should be saying: "darn, these eyes"? ;D If there was a wish I wanted, it would be a new pair of eyes. ;D

I'd love to get laser surgery to improve my vision, but there's just one problem. FINANCIAL. I cannot afford it and many surgeons who perform this procedure, do not accept coverage for it. They consider this kind of procedure cosmetic and payment must be financed(with credit cards). Financially, because I don't have good credit, I cannot apply for a credit card. And in these economic times, there's no way I'd be issued a credit card. My coverage(New York State Medicaid) doesn't cover the cost. A friend of mine, had this procedure and he works. His coverage didn't cover the cost of the procedure. He had to pay out of pocket with money he saved and with using his credit card. Again, surgeons who perform this procedure consider it a cosmetic one. What's so cosmetic about one's eyes. Don't get me wrong, I love my eyes, but I've been wearing glasses for over 30 years and I wish I had a new set of eyes with sharp vision. ;D
