I know that there are people out there who will disagree with me, but I think that Quaker Parrots are one of the best talkers. Carmend and I, are owners of a Quaker Parrot. We also have a Budgie. Our Quaker Parrot was given to us by the owner of an African-Grey. And guess what? His Grey barely talks a lick and our Quaker talks a mile a minute. Short of taping his beak, he never keeps quiet, except when he is drying after getting wet, taking a nap or sleeping for the night. The Grey, whose owner gave us our Quaker, mainly imitates noises in her surroundings and any noise that her owner makes, including a lot of whistling. She even imitates the bugler of the horse races when her owner has the t.v. on the horse racing channel.

And Budgies can be just as LOUD. They can be very noisy with their chirping. ;D

Oh, they're such cuties. The fella on the top is not going for a stroll. He or she is climbing up a tree. The one on the bottom. Just his or her looks says it all. They're so adorable, I could just scoop them up, hold them and hug them. ;D
